DM Airmen come to WOW for United Way’s Days of Caring!

On September 22nd, the airmen and women from Davis  Montha Air Force Base gave WOW’s shaded patios a great facelift! Support poles  and bookcases were painted, trike and equipment “garage” refurbished, signs  and doors varnished, and a 20′ long canoe moved to the main  playground. In combination with the volunteer efforts of 15 families from WOW itself, this morning of hard work, shared  effort, and fun fellowship readied WOW’s learning areas for the coming  year. Thanks to WOW parents, DM service personnel, and United Way of Tucson and  Southern Arizona for helping us give wings to little children’s words at  WOW!
