    This web site focuses on apraxia of speech. It provides assistance, information, guidance, referral, education and research support to families and professionals on apraxia of speech and associated speech, language, learning delays, education, therapy and services. The site includes articles, resources, publications and personal stories shared by families dealing with apraxia of speech.
  • The Problem Child Web Site
    This site addresses the issues of learning disabilities, problem behavior, anxiety in children and children with attachment disorder. It has been developed by motivated parents who have been given the challenge of parenting difficult children. Its purpose is to be a resource for parents providing support groups, recommended books, answers to frequently asked questions and information about ADHD and mental health.
  • Northern County Psychiatric Associates
    This site includes information regarding attention deficit disorder, depression in children and adults, bipolar disorder, and anxiety pertaining to obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, and separation anxiety. It offers information about treatment, medications and family issues regarding these disorders. It also provides links to articles regarding these and other problems including Asperger’s Disorder and dealing with bullies.

    This web site provides information on basic articulation problems and stuttering in children and adults. It includes links to other sites on the web that have additional information and continue to discuss the concerns of the family members who have children with these problems.

    This site, although designed to advertise information regarding a Speech Language Pathology clinic, gives good explanations for articulation disorders, dysarthria, fluency problems, language delays and disorders, voice disorders and auditory processing problems. There are also answers to frequently asked questions and access to articles regarding speech and language disorders.
  • Kaufman Children’s Center for Speech Language and Sensory Disorders
    This website was designed by Nancy R. Kaufman, M.A. CCC/SLP who has specialized in the preschool population for 21 years. It includes testimonials from parents and families, signs and symptoms of different disorders and syndromes such as apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, expressive and receptive language disorder and sensory integration and motor disorders.

    This website is dedicated to providing busy parents with general information, resources and tools they need for effective parenting. The site has links to areas regarding working parents, education, parenting, family time, adult health and fitness, children’s health and nutrition, technology, family calendar and parenting tools and resources.
  • The National Parenting Center
    This web site is another general parenting site with a wealth of information for parents regarding children of all ages. There are links to informative articles, “Seal of Approval” reviews of products for children grouped by age, price and category and a chat room for parents.
